This is a prepaid SIM card exclusively for high-speed data communication on Rakuten's network that can be used for up to 13 months, with one year of use plus the first month free.
In Rakuten network areas, you can use up to 3GB of 5G/4G high-speed data communication per month. After using 3GB per month, your data speed will slow down to 200kbps, but will return to normal on the 1st of each month. Voice calls are not available with this SIM card.
You can use up to 1GB even in Rakuten partner network areas.
[Major characteristics]
If you use the first month free for 13 months, the cost per GB/month for the 3GB version is approximately 202 yen/GB/month, making it an excellent value for money product.
It has an SMS receiving function, so you can simply register apps that require SMS authentication, such as LINE, Instagram, and Uber Eats.
You can use up to 1GB of data overseas in areas where Rakuten's network is available. As of March 2023, it is available in the 69 countries and regions listed below. Please refer to the product description for more details.
[How to use]
・After receiving the product, you can use it by following the steps below (for physical SM)
① Insert the SIM card into your device. This is a multi-cut SIM, so it can be paired with any SIM size. Cut the SIM into the appropriate size and insert it into the SIM card slot on your device.
②The APN will be automatically set for devices that are compatible with the RAKUTEN mobile line. You can use it by restarting the device with the SIM inserted.
③ APN settings may be required depending on the service. In that case, please set the APN manually. Please check the APN information on the RAKUTEN Mobile official website.
[About SIM number continuation]
You can continue to use this product by applying for an extension on your phone number before the expiration date.
You can extend your contract by following the SMS notification about one month before the expiration date, or by visiting the FITSIM Market on the official website.
The subscription period is one year, and you can extend it for the following year by completing the renewal procedure.

[About settings]
The APN is automatically set on devices that are compatible with the Rakuten Mobile network. This is done by restarting the device with the SIM inserted, so you can use it without any complicated settings.

[RAKUTEN mobile line prepaid SIM card]
This product is a prepaid SIM card for high-speed data communication on the RAKUTEN line that can be used for up to 13 months. In the RAKUTEN line area, you can use up to 3GB of 5G/4G high-speed data communication per month. After using 3GB per month, your data speed will slow to 200bps, but will return to normal on the 1st of each month. Voice calls cannot be made with this SIM card.
・For partner lines, you can use up to 1GB of 4G high-speed data communication in partner line areas, but the maximum amount of high-speed data available domestically is 3GB combined for the RAKUTEN line and partner line. For example, if you use 2.5GB in a RAKUTEN line area, you can use 0.5GB in a partner line area. Also, partner lines may become unavailable if the roaming agreement between RAKUTEN and the partner line expires.
・For use overseas, you can use up to 1GB of data overseas in areas where RAKUTEN lines are available.
As of March 2023, it is available in the 69 countries and regions listed below. The maximum data volume overseas is 3GB, including combined use of RAKUTEN lines, partner lines, and overseas data.
