An EID means you are good
If an EID (a 32-digit number) shows up, your phone supports eSIM.
Even the same model may not support eSIM, depending on the country it was sold in or the carrier version. The list below is a guide only. Before you buy, please check with *#06# or on the manufacturer's official site. If you bought the phone from a carrier, remember to have it unlocked.
Models known to work
Most phones released in the last few years support eSIM. Here are the main ones.
Apple
iPhone XS and later
iPhone XS, XS Max, XR and every series after them. iPhone SE (2nd generation and later) works too.
Google
Pixel 4 and later
From Pixel 4 and 4a through to the latest series. The a series and Fold are supported as well.
Samsung
Galaxy S23 and later (Japanese models)
Japanese models are supported from the Galaxy S23 series onward. Models sold outside Japan started at a different point, so please check yours.
SHARP
AQUOS sense6 and later
The sense series from AQUOS sense6 onward, plus AQUOS R7 and later and other main models.
Sony
Xperia 10 IV and later
Recent Japanese models such as Xperia 10 IV and later, and Xperia 5 IV and later.
Others
OPPO, Xiaomi and more
OPPO Reno7 A and later, the Xiaomi 12T series and later, and so on. Check your own model with *#06#.
